Today was an unexpected zero but it was lovely! DQ and I slept in until like 9am and just loused around the hotel for a while. We decided to walk to BoJangles for breakfast and were successful in walking through the drive through. We sat outside of the outfitter and ate while more hiker friends showed up. We caught up with Green , the Mississippi Bros, Pegasus, Pimento, and Sticks and Slobber and were eventually convinced not to hike out…

We deiced a plan to throw an impromptu hiker prom! The Goodwill was close by so we all raided their formal wear and found some very tacky outfits. We went back to the hotel to drink, shower, and prepare for our big evening. I think the boys got even more into it than the girls, they were creating sorts and making sure their sports jackets were looking fresh.

I wore this decently fitting taffeta purple strapless dress with the most atrocious heels I could find. DQ had to safety pin my dress together but it worked! We spent a long time tacking awkward prom pictures before getting dinner at the Mexican restaurant. Such a fun day!
