Magic in Your Inbox

Hello friends,

It’s been a while.

Since finishing the PCT, things have been quiet as I’ve tried to find new rhythms and settle back into life in the “real world.” Some days, coming home feels like sliding into my favorite pair of jeans. Other days, it feels like I’d rather be wearing sweatpants… or just run around like a feral animal in my underwear.

Lately, though, I’ve felt a pull back to the trail and the memories I made there. For me, writing has always been about sharing stories in hopes of inspiring others. Writing allows me to revisit moments in time and reflect on my travels and the lessons I’ve learned from meandering through the forest.

This winter, I’ve been writing consistently and wanted a simple way to share pieces I’m proud of with the people who’ve been here since the very beginning. That’s the intention behind Magic in Your Inbox. No pressure, no noise, just stories.

I’ve been working as an editorial intern with The Trek, which has kept me busy in the best way. Here’s a recent piece I wrote offering encouragement and perspective for the 2026 class of AT thru-hikers:

Thanks for being here and for helping keep Magic in the Mountains.

I’ll talk to you soon,

Magic
