In 2025, I thru-hiked the 2,650-mile-long Pacific Crest Trail. The PCT begins at the US/Mexico border and runs along the spine of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountains through California, Oregon, and Washington. I touched the southern terminus on April 8 and touched the northern terminus on September 12.
I hiked with my husband, Truffles, and our trail family from our 2021 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Due to various injuries and ailments, we didn’t hike every mile of the trail together, but Truffles, Pinky, Hangman, and Pimento all started and finished the trail together. I kept a journal and also posted daily vlogs of my journey.
